This notice has been prepared by Ulaş Cam PVC, as data controller, under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), to inform you about the personal data we process through our website, by phone, WhatsApp and in face-to-face meetings. Personal data processed
- Identity and contact details: name and surname, phone number, e-mail address, survey and installation address.
- Customer transaction details: request and message content, measurement and survey notes, quote, order, invoice and service records.
- Visual records: photos of windows, doors and balconies taken during surveys and installations solely for work purposes.
- Financial details: information required for invoicing and payment records (your card details are not stored by us).
- Transaction security details: IP address and technical log records generated when you visit our website.
Purposes of processing
Your personal data is processed to respond to your request, schedule survey and measurement appointments, prepare quotes, conclude and perform the contract, manufacture and install products, issue invoices, carry out warranty and after-sales service, fulfil legal obligations and keep our website secure.
Legal grounds
Your data is processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK: being directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, compliance with the data controller’s legal obligations, the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, and the legitimate interest of the data controller provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms. Your explicit consent is obtained separately for processing outside these grounds, such as promotional messages.
Method of collection
Your data is collected verbally or in writing through the contact and quote forms on our website, phone and WhatsApp conversations, e-mail correspondence and survey visits.
Transfers
Your personal data may be transferred, only to the extent necessary for the purposes above, to authorised public bodies under legal obligations, to persons providing accounting services, to banks for payment transactions, to suppliers where product procurement requires it (only with the details needed for delivery) and to business partners providing hosting and e-mail services for our website. Your data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Retention period
Your data is kept for as long as the processing purpose requires and for the retention periods set by the relevant legislation; at the end of that period it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information if it has been, learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, know the third parties to whom it is transferred, request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, request deletion when the conditions are met, request that these actions be notified to recipients, object to a result against you arising from analysis by automated systems, and claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
You may submit your requests in writing to the address on our contact page, or via the e-mail address on our contact page, together with information verifying your identity. Requests are resolved free of charge within thirty days at the latest.
